The Darren Clarke Perpetual Trophy
The 2007 event took place at Malone Golf Club on Sunday 23rd September.
An enjoyable time was had by all and the day was a great success!
The day started off with grey clouds and ended with Blue skies.
2007 is the 9th year of the competition and 48 Golf Clubs took part on the day.
Along with the main competition there was also a side competition. Almost all of our competitors took part in The Longest Drive & Nearest to the Pin which brought in a little more revenue for the Society!
Each competitor also had the chance to purchase a photograph of themselves and their team which was taken at the first hole.
Well done to the mens winner, Jonathan McDowell and also to the ladies winner, Gail Linter.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who supported us on the day and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
