University of Ulster study

A team of physiotherapists and psychologists in the University of Ulster are studying the benefits of education and advice on fatigue and quality of life of those with MS.

Participants in the study attend group meetings with a physiotherapist once a week for five weeks. Each meeting lasts two hours and gives participants the opportunity to obtain valuable information about MS, fatigue and its management; they can share concerns, experiences and solutions to their problems. There will be time for group discussions, questions and answers. The study is currently taken place in two locations: the University of Ulster in Jordanstown and the MS Society Centre in Annadale Avenue. More centres are being organised in surrounding areas to Belfast, in Londonderry and Craigavon.
