The MS Society NI continues to promote, encourage and where possible help fund good quality research into the causes and management of MS, leading to a cure.

Details of current research projects and the latest research news can be found by clicking on the link to the right to our national website. Below are details of the latest projects approved for funding by the MS Society.

In summer 2009, the MS Society's Board of Trustees approved funding of approximately £1.3 million for new research projects ranging from clinical trials to basic science in the field of MS.

This section provides short summaries of each of the grant applications that were approved for funding from the spring grant round 2009.
